Who we are

What data we process and why
- Contact form. Your name, email address, message and any attachments and, if you fill them in, your organisation and phone number. We use this data only to answer your question and, where relevant, to arrange a follow-up or prepare a quote. We do so on the basis of our legitimate interest in answering questions and, if you ask for a quote, to take steps at your request before entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(f) and (b) GDPR).
- Email and phone. If you email or call us directly, we process the data you share for the same purpose.
- Visiting the website. With every visit, our hosting provider processes technical data such as your IP address, browser type and the time. This is necessary to show and secure the website (legitimate interest).
- Spam protection. The contact form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to check that a person is sending it. For this, Cloudflare processes technical data such as your IP address and characteristics of your browser (legitimate interest: preventing abuse).
We do not use data for advertising and we do not create profiles.
Cookies and the Google Maps map
This website does not set any cookies of its own. We only store your choice about the map in your browser (local storage), so that we do not have to ask again on every page.
At the bottom of every page there is a Google Maps map. We only load it if you allow it. Google then sets cookies and receives, among other things, your IP address; Google is itself responsible for this. See Google’s privacy policy. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time via ‘Cookie settings’ at the bottom of every page (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR).
Who we share data with
We do not sell data. We work with these service providers, who only process data on our behalf:
- Vercel: hosting the website and processing the contact form
- Resend: delivering messages from the contact form to us by email
- Cloudflare: spam protection for the contact form
- our email provider: receiving and storing email
Some of these companies are based in the United States. Data is only transferred there on the basis of the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep data
The website itself does not store your message: the form sends it straight to us by email. We keep messages for as long as we need them to handle your question and for any follow-up, and no longer than two years after our last contact. Data that the law requires us to keep longer, for example in our accounts, we keep for as long as the law requires (usually seven years).
Security
The website always uses an encrypted connection (https) and strict security settings. The contact form only accepts safe file types and is protected against spam.
Your rights
You can ask us what data we hold about you and have it corrected or deleted. You can also object to processing, ask us to restrict it or have your data transferred. You can withdraw consent at any time. Send your request to info@adviesbureauomega.com; we will respond within one month.
Complaints
Not happy with how we handle your data? Please let us know. You can also lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens) or the supervisory authority in your country.
Changes
We may update this privacy statement, for example when the website changes. The date at the top shows when this last happened.
