The housing development
The proposed replacement of Salland Wonen homes on De Omloop required insight into the use of surrounding parking spaces. VAB Architecten & Adviseurs asked Omega to survey parking occupancy around the development.
Surveying at relevant times
Omega agreed the survey area and times with the municipality of Raalte. On two days in December 2024, parking capacity was recorded and repeated counts were carried out in the evening and at night.
Understanding occupancy
The results were analysed by street and survey time, showing how many parking spaces were occupied and what capacity remained available. This analysis was set out in a draft research report to inform further consideration of the parking solution.
