MorsState and ’t Gasfabriek
For ROHA 21, Omega assessed parking and mobility demand at MorsState and ’t Gasfabriek in Rijssen and calculated traffic generation.
The project
The development on Morsweg in Rijssen combines housing and business premises. For ROHA 21, Omega brought parking demand from both uses together in a single parking and mobility assessment.
Parking for different users
Omega assessed parking demand from residents, staff and visitors. The study considered spaces in the car park and at ground level, attendance at different times and opportunities for shared use.
Traffic and assumptions
Omega also calculated traffic generation and incorporated the assumptions discussed with the municipality of Rijssen-Holten. The study took account of the revised development programme and the draft municipal parking policy available in 2026.
