Coolblue-depot Rotterdam
Omega developed a new layout for the car park at Coolblue's Vareseweg depot, addressing capacity, dimensions and vehicle routes.
The project
The car park at Coolblue's depot on Vareseweg in Rotterdam needed a better layout. The available space had to be used more effectively while keeping the site readily accessible to daily users.
Omega investigated how parking bays and vehicle routes could be accommodated on the site. It considered dimensions, the entrance and exit, and connections to the building. The existing arrangement was the starting point for a new layout.
This resulted in a concept design with 132 parking spaces in October 2023. The design shows the proposed layout and traffic directions and provides a basis for further development.
