For JG Timmer, Omega assessed the car park layout and traffic flow for the proposed construction of a shop in Hoogeveen.
The project
The plans for Schutstraat 195 change both the car park and its connection to Schutstraat. For JG Timmer, Omega assessed how parking and traffic for the new and existing shops would work together.
Car park layout
Omega reviewed the car park design against NEN 2443. The review covered aspects including the entrance and exit, queuing space, vehicle routes, turning radii and parking bays.
Connection to the road network
Omega calculated traffic generation and assessed routes to and from the site and the junction near the A28. These aspects were set out in the June 2026 draft study.
