The project
Staff, patients, visitors and support services come together at the De Meregaard care facility in Almere. Its three car parks therefore require a layout and access arrangements suited to the way the site is used.
Omega prepared a management and business plan, assessed the different user groups and investigated how the car parks could be improved. The layout, entrances and exits, parking equipment and allocation of management tasks were considered together.
As a follow-up, Omega developed the requirements for the parking management system in preparation for commissioning the supplier. The advice describes access rights, day-to-day processes, responsibilities and technical support.
