Meijnerswijck – ASM-haven
Omega prepared the parking and mobility assessment for the ASM-haven in Meijnerswijck, connecting appropriate parking standards with accessibility and future users.
The project
ASM-haven forms part of the Meijnerswijck area development in Arnhem. This sub-area is based on a low-traffic residential environment, with space for homes, visitors and hospitality.
Commissioned by KondorWessels Projecten, Omega calculated parking demand and investigated appropriate standards for the different housing types and target groups. The assessment used car ownership data and a review of local facilities, walking, cycling and public transport.
The mobility plan develops options for shared bicycles and cargo bikes, with attention to introducing them to residents and monitoring use.
