The project

NBC Events in Nieuwegein explored a Mobility Hub alongside its existing event and conference building. The project brings together parking, visitor reception, cycling, loading and unloading, and the connection to the building.

Omega translated the requirements into a concept design with parking levels, ramps and an entrance and logistics level. Dimensions, internal circulation and entrances and exits were developed with intensive event use in mind.

The design and explanatory memo also address arrival and departure peaks, queuing space, cycle access and connections to the surrounding area. The drawings provide a basis for further coordination and technical development.
