The project

COD and Synchroon are developing NDSM A7-2 in Amsterdam. The proposal combines housing with commercial and community uses, a shared car park and cycle parking facilities.

Omega prepared the mobility plan and calculated parking demand for residents, visitors and the other uses. Municipal policy, available car park capacity, and bicycle and scooter parking were considered together.

In the report, Omega also assessed the car park design against NEN 2443. This brought the evidence for parking demand and the physical car park design together in a single advisory process.
